How to Add Custom Emoji to Slack

Step 1: Download an Emoji

Browse our collection and click any emoji you'd like to use. It will be saved as a GIF or PNG file.

Step 2: Open Slack

Open your Slack app or workspace in a web browser

Step 3: Open Emoji Panel

  1. Click "Emoji" button in your chat window

Step 4: Add Your Custom Emoji

  1. Click "Add Emoji" at the bottom of the panel

  2. Select "Upload Image" and choose your downloaded emoji

  3. Name your emoji (e.g., :bro:, :party_cat:) - no spaces allowed
  4. Click "Save"

Step 5: Use Your New Emoji

That's it! Type :your_emoji_name: in any message to use your new emoji.

💡 Tip: Remember that emoji names are case-sensitive and can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores.
